
(Chrysanthemum indicum L.) or in english it is called indian chrysanthemum. An erect or ascending, hairy herb, perennial aromatic, leaves are thin oblong ovate and sharply toothed. Upper surface of the leaves deep green white, under surface gray-green. Flowers in heads are yellow. Fruits are very small, oblong, somewhat compreesed and grooved. Widely cultivated for ornamental and medicinal purposes. Collect flowers and leaves rinse and sun dry.
Folkloric uses: Preventive for cough, flu, epidemic meningitis, whooping cough. Is also used for cleaning the eyes. pound leaves then squeeze juice, put the juice in the eyes and it will clear up the vision.
